A PCO licence is a driving licence for private hire drivers, issued by the PCO (Public Carriage Office), a department of TfL (Transport for London).
What requirements do I need to become a PCO driver?
You must be at least 21 years old, have held a driving licence for three years, meet the required medical standards, pass a criminal record and DBS check.
What do I need to get a PCO Car Leasing Subscription?
AddVee customers will need a PCO Licence & Badge, a clean UK Driving Licence and two forms of identification which display proof of living address.
Do I need a good credit history to be an AddVee customer?
No, you don’t need a good credit history, and every application is considered.
What is the minimum contract for an AddVee PCO Car Leasing Subscription?
Drivers can benefit from the flexibility of a 12 week rolling vehicle contract.
Does my weekly leasing payment include servicing and insurance?
Yes. Your weekly payments cover vehicle servicing, insurance and so much more.
Does the car need to undergo any tests to get started as a London PCO driver?
No, all of our vehicles are fully licenced and PCO ready – meaning you can get on the road and start earning the same day you receive your car.
Do customers get any support with Electric Vehicle charging?
Yes! AddVee customers can benefit from a bp pulse partnership which gives drivers access to 1,578 charging points across London.
Will I need to pay for wear and tear of the car?
No! We cover the replacement of tyres and brakes, so you do not have to worry about it.
If my car breaks down, how long do I have to wait until it gets fixed?
You do not have to wait – we offer an immediate replacement vehicle, so you get back on the road and continue to earn money whilst our on-site mechanics fix your car at our Fleet Hub.
What does the AddVee PCO car leasing subscription not cover?
AddVee does not cover unreasonable damage (£500 excess), bodywork/damage and tyres outside normal wear/tear and we do not pay any fines.
